LEARN MORE ABOUT NAD+

This magical co-enzyme known as NAD, (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is changing the game of home healthcare. Not only have researchers identified its ability to reduce inflamation in the body and increasing energy, but some have claimed it's a way to slow down or reverse the aging process.

What is NAD+?

NAD+ stands for Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide, which is a coenzyme found in all living cells. It plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including energy metabolism, DNA repair, and gene expression regulation.

NAD+ is involved in redox reactions, acting as an electron carrier in metabolic pathways such as glycolysis, the citric acid cycle, and oxidative phosphorylation. Additionally, NAD+ serves as a substrate for enzymes like sirtuins and poly(ADP-ribose) polymerases (PARPs), which are involved in processes such as DNA repair and gene expression modulation.

NAD+ PRODUCTION AS WE AGE

Our bodies experience a significant decline of NAD+ production as we age. Some researchers actually attribute the aging process to the decrease of NAD+ as we get older. Because NAD+ helps regulate our metabolic system functioning and also reduces damage to our DNA, this decline can impact us on a number of different phsiological levels.

Ways to Increase NAD+

There are two main paths toward increasing the level of NAD+ in your body. The first is maintaining a fit lifestyle that combines a healthy diet and regular exercise. The other option is supplementation through IV Therapy or regular injections of the co-enzyme for optimal health.

Benefits of NAD+

Metabolic Functioning
+ Weight Management

NAD+ has been shown to increase metabolic functioning which helps indiivduals achieve &/or maintain a healthy weight. As metabolic functioning increases and inflammation decreases, enegy levels increase for many individuals supplementing NAD+ with regular doses.

Improve Brain Health
+ Memory

Because NAD+ help repair damage to our cells, as well as our bodies' stress response, increased levels of this co-enzyme can increase memory and overall neural health. As a result, increasing NAD+ levels may help to slow memory loss caused by aging.

Increase Longevity

As mentioned, NAD+ helps protect cells from the damage that often accompanies aging. It can also increase energy levels and vigor in physical performance. These factors play an important role in increasing individual longevity.
